Dates and access

  • Announced at BlizzCon 2026 on Saturday 12 September 2026. Blizzard
  • Beta begins Thursday 17 September 2026 for players who pre-purchase the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection. Blizzard
  • Launches 4 November 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PDT, globally. Blizzard
  • Access is included with a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time; the optional packs add cosmetics, early access and beta entry. Blizzard
  • A third permanent World of Warcraft alongside Modern and Classic, in Blizzard's words not a mode, a season, or a new version of Classic. Blizzard

The world

  • Levels 1 to 60, set after Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and before Molten Core, on the original continents plus new regions. Blizzard
  • Three new zones: Mount Hyjal, Zephras Isle and The Riverglades. press
  • A new neutral playable elven race, the Skyborne, with a starting experience on Zephras Isle. Blizzard
  • About 1,000 new quests spread across the whole 1 to 60 bracket. press
  • Nine additional dungeons, 10 to 20 player raids, and a new battleground on the Darkspear Islands. press
  • New race and class combinations (an Undead Paladin appears in the trailer) and new reputations that unlock items and account-wide perks. press

Systems

  • Every talent tree has been reworked, with the stated aim of replacing flat passive percentage bonuses with talents that change how a class plays. press
  • An SD/HD character model toggle, new lighting and global illumination, volumetric particles, a new water renderer and real-time shadows. press
  • Community counts from BlizzCon footage: 470 talents across the nine classes, of which 129 are new, 231 rewritten and 110 unchanged from Classic. These are a community reading of footage, not Blizzard data. community

Packs

  • Skyborne Heroic Pack: Skyborne race access, the Zephras Isle starting experience, early name reservation, the Cerulean Prideclaw ground mount, cosmetics and housing decor, one Invite-A-Friend launch code. Blizzard
  • Skyborne Epic Pack: everything in Heroic plus beta access from 17 September, 30 days of Game Time from 4 November, additional cosmetics, pets and tabards, three Invite-A-Friend launch codes. Blizzard
  • Warcraft Forever Collection (limited time): everything in Epic plus Warcraft III: Reforged, the Forsaken Kingdom campaign, and Forsaken and Human figurine decor. Blizzard

What this site shows today

The default view is the latest datamined build.

The talent calculator has the datamined trees of the current build and a community preview of the Forever trees, attributed to wowforevertalents.com, selectable on each class page.

The watcher checks Blizzard's content network every ten minutes. When the beta build appears it is extracted, compared with Classic Era and published here without anyone touching it.
